ABOUT US
The company started in 2013. It is owned & operated by Jeff Kaplan. Your “Guy” around the house started as the tag line to the company name of Endless Possibility Services, Inc. But, in 2015 Angie’s List called as a result of some great reviews to see about advertising with them. At that time the tag line was converted to a dba- “doing business as” and now operates as Your “Guy” around the house!
Before that call from Angie’s List, the business was 100% referral, direct from friends or them referring their friends & family. Then came Angie’s List and the business is still ~95% referral & repeat business. The last 5% or so comes from the professionally wrapped van. So, if you came to this web site you find it hard to believe what others have said & you want to see for yourself!

Many customers have become clients! And there have been several of those clients that started with small handyman projects that were so impressed with the service, quality and doing those repairs in an efficient and cost-effective manner that then requested the major remodeling work that are represented in the photos throughout this website!

Jeff was always handy, even as a kid. He started working for his dad in his hardware store in Detroit, MI when he was only 10 years old. He took wood shop in high school and helped his dad with repairs around the house.
​
In August of 2009, Jeff moved to Winter Garden, FL with ~125 others to help launch another campus of a church that was based in metro Detroit. Not to work for the church, but as a volunteer! Nine years later after the church launch, Jeff is still involved and has been a contribution to the weekly services and has built most of the Christmas & Easter sets which are a big deal around this church!

Jeff attempts to operate his business different than many others in the construction business:

He returns calls.

He shows up when he says he will, both for meetings and for the work being done!

He schedules his work in his calendar and typically only works on one project at a time.

Meaning, if there is a project that takes more than a day, week or months, Jeff is at that client’s home until the project is completed.

That has created interesting situations for clients- one, they love to have their work being done more quickly, minimizing the length of time their home is torn up & messy.

And on the other side, it means clients need to wait longer to have their projects started, sometimes 3-4 weeks!

Jeff does only high-quality work & will not cut any corners.

It’s either done right or he won’t take it on.

Very high attention to detail and craftsmanship.

As a result, never the least expensive, nor does he want to be!

Typically, does not do work on flips house, nor rentals.

Most people who are looking to flip a house are just interested in how quick & cheap it can be done

Most Landlords need someone over to the tenant’s property that same day of the next, which is not possible with all the clients who want quality work done & are willing to wait!

Jeff is committed to hiring workers to work with/ for him to offer them the opportunity to make a living and to service more clients more quickly! But the criteria he has is that the workers need to care about what their doing and they need to operate their lives from doing what’s right, even when nobody is looking and by doing what they say and say what they are going to do!

Jeff also wishes his son, daughter-in-law and their four kids would move from Raleigh, NC to Orlando. But Jake is way too successful in his career for that! So, Jeff schedules weekend trips to see them have them come to visit the attractions & him, as often as possible!
